Bill had a vision for Barnstone to be a church where those whom other churches had disregarded could find Jesus. In this dream for this church the faces of those people who he knew the church had failed to reach were on the barnstones being used to build the church. 

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. " - Eph 2:19-Eph 2:22 NIV

Barnstones are rough cut stones, often hand cut, used to build walls, barns and other structures. They are each unique in shape and size and might even be different kinds of stone. However they are all worked by the maker to fit together to His creation.
